Crestone! Wow, where do I start. I've been home for less than a week and the changes are drastic. Yes, in a very good way. I didn't know what quite to expect and just now I am beginning to put it into words. I am finally not running, and amazingly enough, I was running from me.
Keeping busy all the time trying to accomplish the things in which I thought that once they were done, I would have this peace or satisfaction in life. I set the goals, but went so long trying to reach them, I'd begin to forget what I started them for. I wasn't finding peace in my accomplishments, just more to do. You know, it's almost like I had made my mind up a long time ago that strength was my key. Financial success would give me my freedom, but I found the more I thought this, the less free I became. I even gave up on love. Yes I would always show love, but I gave up on the whole human race.
My whole concept of this life had been just to accept, be strong, and keep going until one day in heaven, there will be true people and true love around me at all times with no question, and no pain anymore. But in Crestone, it was different. Not only was there unconditional love in every space you walked, but a release of these thoughts and patterns and an actual hope for love and the human race. Have you ever been in a place that in every room you walk you are supported by 12 people that love you unconditionally? For me that was amazing! I think all of us want the same things. Sometimes we just give up on love, because for so long it just hasn't shown up. In a world of such disarray, we look around and put on amour for protection, to get by and to get tough to make it. We become angry to hide it. We keep running faster and faster to not see it. Then one day in a spiritual vortex of energy, with a group brought together by choice and universal destiny, there you find love. Everyone is moving through their stuff and they need you as much as you need them. Everyone is important and everyone is supporting each other. It's actually like a fantasy land of unconditional love, but it's real. For one whole week, you get to have that amazing experience. To have a world around you with unconditional love, to release all of your old patterns that don't serve you anymore and to have revelations that will fill your life with a whole new perspective of the infinite possibilities that we have forgotten about in our race through this life.
I will never forget that trip and I honestly can't wait to go back. I am so thankful for the hope and for the people that listened to their spirit and chose to be there with me. I love all of them and I found that money wasn't my freedom, nor strength, it was the experience of being in a group of loving people. It was one word that I hadn't felt unconditionally until I went to Crestone, LOVE. It was more healing than any good night sleep I ever had, or anything I've ever bought, or actually anything I've ever done. I'm so thankful for the new me and the hope that I have now. Thank you Alan and all of my Crestone friends for being there to show me and to share that experience with me!
